Noah raises the bar...

Check out the Trains.com home page to see the photo of the day Noah sent me. I wish our system would let me show a much larger version of it. It's very well done.

Top notch, Noah!

Cool.

Do you except photos that are slightly old? I have one that I took at Aldershot, Ontario west of Bayview Junction.

I will likely have some good ones from Fostoria I'll be taking on the 10th and 11th.

Pretty cool there, Noah...
I really like how you got the different parts of the bridge structure in the shot...
Trains crossing bridges is always a neat subject, you just got it from a new angle...

(Hey Bergie, how about the nice blue engine of the Maersk Sealand that someone (not me) email you? It would make a nice pic of the day too.)

Thanks Everybody, I appreciate all the comments. And Kozzie, it's a very wide river alright. The train there had about 20 cars on it, and it only took up about 3/4ths of the bridge on it's way across. It's really long bridge, or wide river, which ever way you look at it.

Thanks again,
Noah

Great shot Noah! If I recall from posts else where I thought were on the WSOR yahoo groups. There was talk of this bridge possably not being in use in the not so distant future because of structural soundness. It'll be too costly to upgrade or replace. Noah, Can you recall seeing this mentioned. It's been a while & I can't quite remember all of the details. So make the best of this structure while it's still being used! "HAPPY RAILS" .........................Ken. PS; Now for your next assignment Noah, Get a picture from the ferry boat of the train on the bridge at mid river! Just kidding, But from knowing you, You'd pull it off too!!!

Ken, yeah that was on the WSOR yahoo groups. Hope it doesn't happen in the too near future though, it's a really neat bridge. And I've though about the picture from the ferry, but I'd be a hard thing to time right.

Yeah, I thought that I'd give you a hard time Noah about the pic. from the auto ferry. Because I know that you are probably the biggest WSOR fan around! & you always seem to do what you set out to do no matter how long it takes. PS; I can just see you now camping out on the boat until the train ran through........You've made 21 trips across the river & then it came by. You took 24 snap shots of the train & then you rushed home only to find out that you forgot to load the film! ...........Just kidding! "That's something that I'd do though" Remember last spring when I ran out to take pics. of the MR70th & my batteries were dead in the digital camera? Mad was an understatement for me!
