The FTs were evidentily bumped off the Super Chief in favor of the F3s.
[/quote]

I don't think the FTs were a regular assignment to the Super Chief. They were regularly assigned to the Chief until 1946 with the arrival of the PAs & F3s. I thought the Super regularly ran behind the E6's until 1949 when the first passenger F7s #37-#41 took over. Of course there are always exceptions to the regular assignments. For my modeling, I continue to hope to find a picture of the Super behind the PAs.
