Which brings up another point & question -- does BNSF still run fuel tenders? I know a few years ago I saw some on the mainline from Portland to Pasco WA -- do they still run?

This is back in 2000, I would assume these helpers are still in operation, but I'm not 100% sure.

They all used fuel tenders.

That was what I was thinking of - did'nt realise they used them in Wyoming as well -- thanks

As far as I know out at Crawford on the Crawford hill they still use fuel tenders.
They still use 3 SD60M's as for pushers.

I'm surprised, I didn't think they used those anymore. Now if only those were available for Ford Expedition owners.
