Bridge and Track Stolen
Posted by Victrola1 on Monday, May 7, 2012 11:27 AM

An old 10-tonne heavy railway bridge was dismantled and stolen in broad daylight in the west of the Czech Republic, country’s Pravo daily newspaper reported. The metal bridge, built in 1901 over a river near the town of Slavkov in the province of Karlovy Vary, was taken away by an organised group of thieves using a crane and trucks. Pavel Halla, a spokesman for the Czech

Railways, said the thieves also stole some 200 metres of railway track.......

Steal the bridge and some track while you're at it.

If you show up with the proper equipment and proper 'look'; who outside of someone knowledgeable about the railroads maintenance operations, would even question the event.

If you 'look and act' like you are the real deal, something like this is not that hard to pull off.

Never too old to have a happy childhood!

A friend told me last week that the local junkyards won't take an intact car without a Certificate of Title - but in pieces over time, sure they will . . . Smile, Wink & Grin  (Just the reverse of that 1976 Johnny Cash song, "One Piece at a Time - see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Piece_at_a_Time ).
