Hey Gang,
I did a fair bit of railfanning this weekend. Here are two blue hour shots and one golden hour shot taken on the Moffat Sub. I'll have some GLRR shots later today or tomorrow, too.

Just don't know about folks who would fly from Colo to NoooYawk for Chicken parts that had bathed in HOt Sauce.!
Looked like you were having too much fun. Now me I'd go to Mempho for Bar-b-que at Neeley's!
Oh, Yeah! back to the subject at hand...UP's Armour Yellow looked almost golden in that shot. Pretty cool stuff !
The Blue shot is really different, but very interesting. The purple haze looks good as well with the play of the lights. I liked them both, but I really liked the lighting effects on what if in the daylight might be just ordinary(?)
Thanks, as always, for sharing them!
[ Tell me you did not bring back a big doggy bag of wings]
Really interesting shot with the city scape in the background, lots of details.
Is that an old abandoned set of tracks in the lower right behind the "fence"?

Sam - Thanks. No doggie bags on my flight. The Anchor Bar has a branch in Buffalo Niagara Falls International Airport, and I almost got some before leaving as my flight was delayed. I was wearing my Duff's shirt, though, and thought that it might be bad form to go in wearing the shirt of their arch rival! ;-D
Ed - I think it's just some shadow play from the lights of the locomotive. It definitely has that looks though, doesn't it!
I'll bet in a month or so, that third shot would really be golden. Or, as some say in your home state, "Bleepin' golden!"
Sam, trust me...Chris doesn't go to New York for just the food, just the trains, or any combination of those two!

As always, visit the thread expecting excellence, and Chris doesn't disappoint.
I like the "blue" shots the best.
Chris will have to visit my neck of the woods some fall for some "technicolor" shots...

Chris, 6670 is a powerful shot. I resized the photo and it felt like I was standing there. Very sharp and clear details including the exaust heat. Keep on shooting, you could very wellfill the void left by the passing of past and recent camera men All the shots are great ones.

I wonder how they would have looked in B&W.....
Just kidding...they look great; the first two are very creative. I really like the placement of the small building in the opening under the tracks in the blue shot; the sky is such a different shade that it almost looks like a portal to another place and time....
