Donner Pass Action

This past weekend (Fri 9/17-Mon 9/20) was spent up on Donner Pass with a friend of mine who lives in the area. We mostly kept around Roseville on Friday catching AMTK #5 on the Yolo Causeway & a few trains around the yard. Saturday was spent on the hill between Truckee & Roseville which included UP 2001 on the "Roper" (MRORV 17). Sunday saw UP 1996 on the point of the SCBFR 17 over the hill. To wrap it all up on Monday we caught the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey blue unit circus train on the hill running as the SSTSC 20. It was a busy weekend but we really had a blast up on the hill. Below are a few links to my pictures from this weekend.
