[/quote] Those people trying to sabotage the industrial revolution were resisting the threat that it posed to manual labor.  This sweeping energy / transportation policy we are discussing is a public sector proposal, thus entirely different than the industrial revolution.  I don’t think there is any analogy between the resistance to the industrial revolution and those who resist this public sector energy / transportation proposal.
