I read the article and have been reading the large body of on-line material that echos that article. The last thing I would conclude is that near-universal U.S. rail electrification is moot, dead on arrival, or a tempest in a teapot. On the contrary, it is about to shake the U.S. rail industry unlike anything else in history IMHO.</P>
