Kind of a specific request, but does anybody know what the customer base or local traffic between Kearney and Grand Island is.  Thank you,

 Tom

When I visited Gibbon NE which is slightly east of Kearny I saw only 1 local which had the normal mix of cars seen on any merchandise train anywhere in America. All the rest of trains I saw were long haul trains of coal, intermodal or grain trains. At Grand Island the BNSF ran mostly coal trains with a smattering of merchandise trains. There were no intermodals or grains trains during my stay in GI on the BNSF Smile
