I'm sorry the 14 year old died. But it was a trespasser not a pedestrian. A pedestrian uses a public walkway.....

"Pedestrian hit snarls corridor traffic" is the line in the Trains News Wire.  Here is the article News Wire refers to: http://www.baltimoresun.com/features/commuting/bal-girl-killed-train0105,1,7039081.story.

I note in the Baltimore Sun article, nowhere is the victim referred to as 'a pedestrian'.  I would expect Trains standards to exceed those of a local newspaper in incidents such as these.....Trains News Wire did not report this incident on par with my expected standards for them.
