If you wish, you may hold your breaths. A train that usually runs through on CSX currently has UP 1995 as the trailing unit. Although the unit could be taken off at North Platte, or even Proviso, that is considered unlikely.

UP1995 has made through to Ohio and through Berea via an eastbound "Salad Bowl Express" on CSX.  It was the trailing unit on the train today 17 Jan 10.

That 9669 does look nice.  It has to be a very rare unpatched unit in 2009.

Thanks for posting that picture.   The Rotary next to it might be in action soon on the Hill if the storm is as big as they say it is this week.

UP does not own the 8646 or the 8701, they are lease units, so in order for them to get to IRM (which they might) it would be do to the generosity (or tax deduction) of the lease holder...
