[quote user="DennisHeld"]The spending is going to happen whether you like it or not.[/quote]   I don’t believe that is a forgone conclusion.  It is doubtful that they will be able to spend it fast enough to keep ahead of the rapidly growing perception that it is not helping the economy.  This whole thing could hit a brick wall.  Just to spend the stimulus, The government will need another 800-billion just to hire enough bureaucrats to do the spending.
