Barnum and Bailey Circus Train St. Louis Missouri To Cleveland Ohio 10/19/09

Well I probably can guess the Red Unit Circus Train left St. Louis very early this morning. Some of the questions want to ask is, Did anybody see the Red Unit leave St. Louis, headed for Cleveland? If someone did, then what time did it leave early this morning, or could there be an issue of delay? I probably will miss the Red Unit going through Berea Ohio but if I didn't WHAT TIME WILL IT COME THROUGH. My other question is, is the cars of the train going to be parked in Collinwood Yard? If the cars are parked there, how long would they stay in Collinwood? Would they stay for a little bit or stay the whole week? If some people want to know information about the train itself I found this sight here http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?2,2037907. I just joined the Circus Train Group on Yahoo.com so also maybe I might get my anwser from them to. Thanks.

Train 922 westbound at Indy, 3:00PM.  Generally the train will park near the Amtrak station in Cleveland or the former NYC yard near downtown at E26th.

Yea, but my understanding was it was coming up on the CSX Short Line up to Collinwood. Now you may be correct on one thing, at Berea Ohio there is the Big Four Connection Track that joins the CSX to NS or NS to CSX. Now if the Red Unit Train came up on the Shortline and diverged onto the NS Chicago Line headed for Cleveland, then that makes sense on the Train going to sit by the Amtrak Station or E26th Street. If anybody knows where the Red Unit is parked at right or is it still on it's way to Cleveland?

Wait a minute, isn't 922 is the CSX Office Car Special, not the Red Unit Circus Train. I may be wrong. The only issue I have about the Train parking by the Amtrak Station is I thought it was coming up the CSX Short Line. Now it could still come up the NS Chicago Main by the Toledo Connection Track in Berea Ohio where it could diverge from the CSX Main to the NS Main. I also thought the Red Unit's I.D. was P918. You know what, I was wrong look at this video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ez9WAXKxvqU. Not my video.

So you mean to tell me, this train hasn't even made it to Marion yet for a crew change. So basically that means the train wouldn't make it through Berea till about 11PM to 12AM. I'm not going to go see the train tonight or anytime soon this week in Cleveland because my families truck is getting worked on and my Grandpa is very sick in the Hospital. So I won't be able to see the Train at all this week. I do have next year to be able to see it.

According to the local paper, there will be a parade of the circus animals. It will start at 6:30am (Tues. 9/20)from the muny parking lot and proceed up East 9th street to Quicken Loan Arena.

So this means, this train ran very late in order to make the animal walk at 6:30AM this morning when it really should of been yesterday or yesterday evening.

This business about the train using the "Big Four Connection" is probably incorrect. I'd imagine that they just took the train up into Collinwood Yard, ran the power around the cars, and headed down the Lakefront Line to the Amtrak Station. That makes more sense, and CSX doesn't have to "deal" with NS so much. Now, I may be incorrect, but I would see CSX doing something like that, before crossing the train over at Berea, on the Columbus Connection.

Also, the train sat in Cleveland overnight, and the circus animals, etc, were unloaded the following morning prior to the parade. Just because the train arrived into Cleveland, doesn't mean that the parade is going to occur immediately.
