Heres one that won't be around much longer: <br /> The Sierra Pacific railroad. It is owned by Sierra Pacific as an outlet for there mill in Susanville. That mill is sch. to close in a month or two (not shure of the date). It runs between Susanville,Ca. and Wendel,ca. where it connects with the SP (Oops, UP). <br />Since this is the only reason for this remaining southern end of the Modoc lines existance, I don't expect it will be to long befor UP abandonds its section from Wendel to Flannigan,Nv. <br /> <br />[:(] [sigh] [:(] [sigh] [:(] [sigh] [:(] [sigh] [:(] [sigh] [:(] [sigh] [:(] [sigh] [:(] [sigh]
