"DAR" - The Land of Evangeline Route "CNR" - Serves all of Canada "CPR" - Spans the World CP had a pretty impressive steamship line along with the railway. I recall reading about a silk shipment originating in China (1930's? or earlier) that was loaded on a CPR steamship in Hong Kong [4:-)] , sailed across the Pacific, transloaded onto CPR train in Vancouver BC, across Canada, loaded onto another CPR steamship [oX)] in Halifax, NS which then sailed to Great Britain.
