Boxcar with extra long coupler!

Back in the late 70s ICG had a boxcar with an extra long coupler!  Never seen anything like this before.

This was on here three or so weeks ago. Something about the cushioning device of the boxcar. It must have happened during a move or something.

Looks like the result of a bad slack run.

ICG extra cushion drawbar, for those loads that require extra care.

 ... for coupling on to cars you wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole,   The eleven foot pole!!
