Bondo and Drag Racing

Couple images from 8/24 to share.   Lights heading east from the famous Mt Vernon overpass view, with the first Dash 9 looking like one of my dad's old cars after some guy cornered him in a parking lot saying, "Hey, I can fix that dent for you real cheap, while you're in the store..."

And a couple minutes later, two westbound stackers race at track speed, about to cross Fogg in Colton.  Really wish this was video, as it was something to see.

Thanks for looking and corrections are welcome.

Very nice.  Even for something I see all the time, the change of location makes it so much better!

.....CF:

That's what I'd call {RR}, saturation in the first photo.....Both photos, very good and interesting.  Enjoying your work.

More great work Charles. I really dig the first one with the obvious body work. Kind of reminds me of an old car of mine, pieced together from several 'donors'. The hood and a door from one, and a fender from another. Ahh... memories.

Hi EL,

I was at San Bern 2 days later.  Hot enough for you?

VERY nice photo on the ramp.  Busy, busy, busy place.

We went up on Cajon just to escape a bit of the heat and get some breeze.

Thx, Dblstack

spend some time on the transcon and you will see lots of units in need of help. Not just body work, but pink paint and warpumpkin parts (especially AC units) on warbonnet units and vice-versa.

I really like the second shot Charles Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]
