Picture Memories
Posted by JoeKoh on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 5:40 PM

Hi

was replacing a picture in the train room and found one from a few years ago.it was a csx train on the SE wye in deshler. The reason why I remember it is because  it had 5 units dead in tow then another unit gave out in Cario(north of lima). One sd 40-2 for a 9000 ft train.Any other unique memories of lost pictures?

stay safe

joe

Hi Joe, I have one that I lost (hopefully misplaced) that I took around 92' at the Woodford sideing on Tehachapi of a SP trailer train (PTPCX I think). Ordinarily it wouldn't be that unusual except it was taken late at night dureing a thunderstorm and the whole scene is backlit with lightening. i was tring to catch some lightening in the frame but the results were very interesting. Hopefully I'll come across it and post it one of these days.
