Just want to let everyne of a 5.8 earthquake in LA. It was centered near the Chino Hills area. SO far he is no damage reports but I would assume railroad operations are temporary suspended for inpections.

Several of us here survived without major injuries.

Seriously, all rail lines are reportedly in good order, but MetroLink trains are running at reduced speeds until thorough inspections are completed.

If I ever met a train I didn't like, I can't remember when it happened!

4.9 and above and those folks are getting busy.

(Bridge seats, relay cases, track all getting looked at and Restricted Speed in effect)

At least it missed 6.0.

An awful lot of BNSF folks I know are real busy right now.

Mudchicken Nothing is worth taking the risk of losing a life over. Come home tonight in the same condition that you left home this morning in. Safety begins with ME.... cinscocom-west
