I think I might have a reasonable alternative. Bring back the ols Steam Locomotives, but re-engineer them for nuclear power; just like the fission plants, only much, much smaller scale. a reactor would be able to fit inside a firebox, led-lined, of course, and the old firetubes would be converted to being the "primary" system. Everything else would remain the same, steam train wise. Understand. Fuel would last for 5-7 yrs; depending on grade.(refining) <br />What do you think?
