Trains mag DVD

Did everyone get the free DVD with the July issue of Trains?  I wish they would have mentioned the ACe.  Whats up with that?  The tracktive effort on the ACe and the ES44, witch neither locomotive was mentioned, far surpass the 70MAC and the AC4400. Not complaining about the DVD, but they wanted to talk about "The Sluggers" so lets hear about the new AC motors.  They did mention the AC6000, the SD90MAC, and the SD80MAC.  Excellent video though.

I got the Big Power DVD (but not the magazine). Is it free?? If so, hat's off to the folks at Trains Mag and I'll definitely consider buying additional versions. I thought you had to pay the $9.95. I watched a bit of last night and it's great.

I didn't pay a dime.  It is a very interesting video though.  I really enjoyed the ac4400s blowing fire out the exhaust, very cool.

I don't think the video's new, it's just been re-released. I paid $9.95 for it as the first installment in the "Ultimate Railroading DVD Series". This is one of my favorite ones from the entire series. Though I agree, they should have updated it and put the GEVO's and SD70ACe's in it.
Long live the BNSF .... AND its paint scheme. SchemerBob
