Impudent Remark
Posted by al-in-chgo on Saturday, May 17, 2008 12:45 AM

I can't believe it:  the mild euphemism d@ng" was replaced with three asterisks by auto-censor.

Good grief, what's next?  "Good grief"?

There are a few railroading terms and devices (air brake handle thingee) Wink [;)] that could be perceived as foul language.

If you mean what people commonly call a (male) rooster, that gets blipped too!

Hi!

Born and raised in Chicago, "those words" are no stranger to me and surely don't bother me all that much.   But, as this is a "G" rated forum with a lot of young folks participating, some poor soul has to draw a line on what's acceptable and what isn't.  I would not want that job.

Ha, after living in Texas since 1977, I have learned to appreciate the Texas/southern sayings and "expletives" and suspect that many of them would give a northerner censor a run for the money..................

ENJOY,

.....I wondered about that Dale....Had something to do with a computer address but just wondered why with "that" word....Guess it was the ampersand.

angel  =  heavenly spirit

angle = measures intersecting lines

anglecock is a pretty routine word, like NBC = "Proud as a Peacock".

Dang I cant say *** here?

Shoot, thats pretty Censored [censored]ed up dude...

Beleive me when I say, if I want to swear online, I know a 1/2 dozen ways around any auto censor, I aint fazed.

I'll keep those ways to myself, I have better ways to corrupt the youth of American than teach them things 75% already know how to do...Laugh [(-D]
