Apology to Forum Members
Posted by sfcouple on Sunday, May 11, 2008 5:23 PM

During the past 2-3 days I've been involved in a discussion on this forum that at times went way  off topic.  I want to take this opportunity to offer an apology for my part in the off topic comments and, as a result of all this, I have learned a valuable lesson.  There is a time and place for everything and parts of the thread in question violated the forum rules, should not have happened, and everyone has my apology.

Since I frequently get involved in just about any really contentious argument around here, and since I don't know what you are speaking about, whatever you feel you may have done wrong could not have been very bad...so no apology necessary on my account at least.

EDIT: I just saw the "electrification" thread you must be referring to...how did I miss getting involved in that one?  Not a biggie in need of an apology unless others involved follow your lead as you were far from alone in getting "off base". Case closed.

Thanks Jim,

I let my pride in California and home town of San Francisco color my judgement.  I'll stick with Trains in the future and leave politics to politicians.
