BNSF & truck crash in LaCrosse, WI
Posted by Goober on Friday, March 21, 2008 4:46 PM
I just saw this on the local news out of Green Bay, (4pm news, WBAY) that a sheriff's deputy was chasing a stolen pick up truck. It looks like it might have gotten stuck on the tracks, and it was hit by the train with 2 BNSF engines, one was a warbonnet. It was recorded on the deputies dash camera.  Driver survived and is being charged.  I checked to see if anyone has posted this and didn't see anything posted.  Truck was pushed down the tracks 200'.  Surprised he survived.  It didn't look good.

Bet the owner want's to hit the thief for stealing and destroying his truck completly.
Just shows how stupid criminals are, and how it takes heavy punishment to teach them.(long jail time-for cryin' out loud)

Link activated.

Footage of the chase is rather boring...no good wreckage (impact is at 4:12 in to the video).  Train sure stopped fast, though.

If it wasn't for dumb people,, we wouldn't look so smart.

FYI

to go to a "http" link:

Move the mouse to the start of the line, the "h", then hold down the left mouse button while moving along the whole line to "highlight" it. Right click the mouse, a list opens, click on "Navagate To"
