Hommie, <br /> <br />Thanks for the reply. It seems to me that this rule is excessive. What would happen if all the railroad crews obeyed this rule to the letter? <br /> <br />I don't work for the railroads, but from my point of view railroad management is under pressure from external sources like the FRA and the NTSB to implement rules that are not always practical. <br /> <br />I find this a very interesting subject. Thanks - Ed
