The government will levy new taxes on Big Oil for the stated purpose of using the money to find alternative fuel. This will make the public feel good because they think that the government is punishing Big Oil. Of course Big Oil will simply pass the tax on to the consumer. Wouldn't you do the same if you were Big Oil?</p><p>Do you want to pay more taxes so the government can solve this energy problem? </p>
