What if Norfolk Southern had chosen one of these other 9 Names.....Would we have had a much diffrent company today? Would we still have Conrail around?

 

Crescent Rail Corp, FirstTran Railways, Innotran, NorSouth, Shenandoah, SN&W, Surtran or Terratran?

It will be call "Conrail" and it will be run more efficient to compete against CSX.

You are no comparing apples to apples. That's like saying Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots. Look at the Managment Style..

That's the question, Wabash, and somehow, they think that could have made a difference and a difference with subsequent events and the acquisition and splitting of Conrail, too.   At least, they want to speculate that it might possibly have made events go a different route.

your answer is not easy because if they keep throwing money at them then it helps me. But at the same time i dont like making others rich off my tax dollars. I wont never get a big piece of the pie anyways.
