Talk about getting woken up.... was coming home after work one night and happened to cross the NS right of way (gated and lighted) on Georgia Rt. 27 in Columbus (GA)...not more than 60 feet away sat a lash up of 3 NS locomotives, lights on. It surprised the mud right out of me. Apparently they were pulling a line of hoppers out of storage and they were doing an air test short of the crossing. After all the horrible stories I've read of crossing accidents here, I had the feeling that I was about to have coupler au tartar for supper... <br /> <br />Erik
