[:D]today I found some info on A relative who was chairman of B&O <br />back In the 70's Also watched A show on tv About B&O And CHESSIE SYSTEMS <br />steam loco # 614 And how A fire In Cumberland Ma's round house almost took the life Of steam # 2101 loco & tender were both badly burned but restored <br />and re# FREEDOM train loco # 1 they showed a very good footage of two B&O SD40's 1 In B&O blue And the other in Chessie colors pulling #614 <br />down 17 mile and sandpatch for braking purpose And sanding the rails <br />but I would love to see some pictures of C&O And B&O In there Native colors <br />that would be A sight to see they also showed some footage of The longest bridge In M.a. (now abandoned) on the WM rwy And some WM locos In <br />there native paint This was back in the mid to late 70's before CSXT <br />back when MP was bigger than UP when SP ruled the west <br />ATSF ruled the midwest BN ruled The north west and CHESSIE ruled the east <br />and SBD , SCL , ICG , L&N , EL , PC, NW , SOU and afew others were still there own Not to mention WP , MP (which at 1 time were bigger than UP) MKT , SSW-SP & D&RGW were all their own companys. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />those were the good ole days
