    can a train go into a closed mth real trax switch without derailing as to the new lionel o-36 fasttrack o-36 switch with derailng. I am starting to build a new lay out and i am trying to decied which type of track to use. Felix

    Welcome to the Trains.com forums.

    Yes, both type of switches have non=derailing features built into them.

    BTW most of the O gauge people hang out on the CTT part of this forum. Here is the link to it.
