How do you quote others as you reply?

    Rich

Click on Rich Formating at the bottom of the post and most all the old stuff is there.......  Quote is right above the response box and below the post you replied to.  This abomination has to be to be more friendly to people who no longer use computers but have their heads in  the "cloud" somewhere........

    Like, Dislike or undecided?

As to this question, I am undecided.

I did notice on multiple page threads there is no page choice.  The thread needs to be opened then which page chosen.

  • Good lord !

    What happened?

    Where am I?

I agree with richg1998.  This new format is terrible.  What the heck was wrong with the old format?

  • Hello.....  Where the heck are we, and what the ..... did they do to the forum?  No way to Quote.  No way to change the font, boldface, italic, etc.  No way to preview.  Ah.....  found it!  Use Rich Formating at the bottom......  Didn't THAT used to be the default?  Why change it?  And why is the "EMAIL ME REPLIES TO THIS POST"  (yelling at me I guess) checked by default?  so I will have to manually uncheck it before I post to keep them from cluttering up my email inbox.  Frankly i already get way too much SPAM!  I don't need to instantly know every time somebody around here hiccups (thinking from the other end....).

At least photos work the way they used to.........

Looks to be another downgrade on Kalmbachs part!  Probably attempting to make the forum work better on "stupid" phones!!!

Are their settings somewhere so the user can make it work better???

  • So far I'm finding it to be faster than the old one. Often it took fifteen to thirty seconds to post a reply.

      • Can we get the default to be set to "Use rich formatting" for everyone in all forums

  • BaltACD

To be able to quote a prior post - you have to first click reply to that individual post and then the Rich Text button to then activate the Quote button.....lot of work!

My kneejerk response is that I don't like it, but that's likely because I'm so used to the old look for so many years...we'll see over time if we all get used to the new look.

    That works.
