When it comes down to seeing how regional & short lines are faring, the Chicago, Fort Wayne & Eastern (ex-PRR, ex-Conrail , ex-CSX...) is one of those lines I'm interested in the most. I seldom see any trains on this line, except if they're making the transition from the CFE onto the westbound NS line at Fort Wayne (Chicago-Cleveland) or from the southbound NS artery (the Fort-Cincy); I could be wrong. If any scheduled trains appear on the CFE, when & where do they most often go? I'm just wondering so if anyone could answer my question as best they could, awesome.
