Wich train next?

  • I would pick Jet Train. What Train would you pick for Amtrak to get free?

  • Jet Train because its efficent and can be assinged on a fast Chicago to St.Louis Express Making stops at Joliet, Bloomington, Springfiled and Alton and still could make it in 2.5 hrs

  • Amtrak needs to push Acela. Michaelstevens has a great point sell Acela service with a Jet Train Loco.

  • I voted Acela -- but what (I think) really should happen is Bombardier/Amtrak should put together an Acela consist (7 cars) with a JetTrain loco on each end -- so the rest of the country could experience what we've got here on the N.E.C.
    That single JetTrain with a string of amfleets was way too "low budget", in my opinion.

  • I voted for the JetTrain because they'd probably get the most use out of it and it would be good for business and might increase ridership. In reality, though, the one I'd like Amtrak to run most from the list is an Alco.
