  • For Class 1's I'd say BNSF H2, the others are to cheap to have a colorful, CSX YN2 was my favorite but that is now an old scheme, my least favorite modern scheme (besides patch jobs) is CSX YN3, ugly, ugly, ugly!!!
  • My favorite modern scheme is CSX's YN3 and next closest to that was CSX YN2. Although it was not on the list, I also like P&W's brown and red scheme.
  • I'm goin to have to agree w/ da majority the new CSX yn-3 or should I say Dark Future paint scheem rules!! The only think I think CSX could do about this scheem is to make the lettering bigger on the nose of the locos.

  • Of All the Modern the C.P. is the Best with the North American paint . But the Best was the S.A.L. Citrus for passenger and the short-lived lime green for freight
  • Im a big fan of the CP Beaver scheme.
  • If it has to be one specified on your list, I'll go with the "Dark Future" CSX scheme. In fact, I'll take two of them to go please. And do you guys have anything non-carbonated?
  • My favorite paint scheme on your list is the CP Beaver. There are older schemes that still exsist, that I like better.SP Red & Gray is my first choice,if you can find one in decent shape. Santa Fe Warbonnet runs a close second.
Ride Amtrak. Cats Rule, Dogs Drool.
  • BNSF heritage 2 all the way. The new paint schemes were the first thing to draw my attention to BNSF leading to my eventual change to model this road over my first love, MoPac.

  • Well, I will say, as a resident by the BNSF, BNSF shall get my vote.
