Reminds me of DPM's Ultimate train, some years ago. Streamlined, lets start with a GS 4-8-4, or an AC over the mountains. No head end traffic, start with a dorm or baggage lounge. I'd take the short dome over the Shasta coaches. Then the Lark or Cascade Club diner/lounges as the best big room on rails, sacrificing the SP domes as the tallest ceiling on rails. I need the full Pullman complement of space, sections, roomettes, bedrooms, compartments, drawing rooms, and, of course, master rooms. The Milwaukee obs would be a fine punctuation, but there are other good candidates. Heavyweight; probably an all Pullman train, with sections, compartments and drawing rooms, with lounges foreward, mid train and, of course, an open platform obs to top it all off, steam powered, of course.
