Is there an easy pedestrian accesible way to get to KC junction. Ive been through there on train and went past on I-35. It doesnt look real easy to get to unless you work for the railroad. Thanks for the help and anyother input is welcome as to were to go in KC.
Cory

Hello Cory, I rarely get to the trains.com forum so I apologize for this late post. There isn't an easy way to get to KC Junction by foot unless you don't mind a long walk down the street lined with some dumped furniture and such by the curb coming in from Southwest Blvd, so it's best to arrive by car. Also, you can get there from either 470/70 or I35. I prefer the 470/70 to the Genesse street exit route myself as it's closer to the junction. If you get off of I35 on Southwest Blvd, you can swing by Union Station nearby on Pershing street. There are no benches or any place to sit at the junction, so it's BYOC. I'm not trying to spook you or anyone who wishes to visit KC Junction, but don't be there after sundown. That's when some people come home.
Once you're there the train action makes it all worth the trip [^][:D]
Take care and happy railfanning,
Russell
