  • Hello! I have a shot of the first IC SD70 in CN paint here:

To me, this is a sad, sad, sight, then again, I'm a huge fan of the IC. Thanks for looking!

  • Not bad, but the Zebra Stripe paint scheme (In my GIF train on my posts, the A1A GMD1) other than the old Green,Black n' Gold is my fav. Check out this photo of a monster new CNR SD70M-2 in the same scheme. Big suckers they be eh!

  • Wow, I kinda like that paint scheme.

  • yeah it really doesnt look so bad. wears CN colors nicely. and as long as other IC SD70s still remain, i wont care. it's a nice unit to see in CN paint as opposed to those horrid fat draper taper bodies and/or 4-eyed widenose cabs with noselights on locomotives that would have otherwise been hood units with standard cabs and teardrop windows on GEs

  • Having been an admirer of CN and not just for it being a railroad with a better than average paint scheme, I like the current scheme on that SD70Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]
  • I am also a fan of the IC and I really hope that is the only SD70 that gets repainted. They look much better in IC paint. But that is a very nice shot anyway!
