The Missabe Road: Safety First
Finally warming up here.
It was a little nippy this mornin, but it was alright. It will definately warm up. Yesterday I picked up them little N scale trains. I paid $60 bucks and got all an F3 AA set, a boxcar, a tankcar, a covered hopper, a reefer, and caboose. I picked up one other car but cant remember what the heck it was. But still not a bad haul for $60 huh boys?

Yes, but it didn't warm up for very long. We had a idiot pull the fire alarm at my school today for no apparent reason, and it was frikkin' cold out there. I wish it would've stayed in the 40's like it was yesterday in Cleveland (and I was on the Lake!!!!).

EDIT - NSlover92, you might want to get out to the NS mainline (the east-west Lake Line, former NYC) because there has been over 10-hour-late Amtrak's running on that line for the past week or more. The Lake Shore Ltd. and Capitol Ltd. showed up at Cleveland just after 2 pm yesterday!!! (For those that don't know, those Amtraks run between 2 and 6 am).
man half of the schools power went out today but of course it was 6th hour oh well.
train show on sunday going to it.

Thats funny!!!
I have a couple of pictures to drop off. One I thought turned out really well.
I caught this train on February 4. But the best news was that the ES44AC in the lead was brand spankin new!!! This picture was taken at Mile post 15.9. This is where the double track becomes singal on the BNSF. This is about 2 miles from Suprior, Wisconsin.
This thing was gleaming!
A real WOW!
I caught this one in January. This is located at Rockmont, Wisconsin just outside of Superior. This is CN train M340. One of the hot trains.
Happy railroading

Very nice James. I'd say more than one turned out "really well", as they all look great to me!

Thanks Noah! I was lucky to catch one of those ES44ACs brand new. I have seen quite a few of these before but never brand new. It was pretty cool. plus I caught the train at the right ime too. They had to sit in the siding for that other coal train and a tac train, so it was going quite slow and then stopped in front of me. The thing that amazed me though was how quiet that locomotive was. All three locomotives were really very quiet. That horn though is really loud.
Anyway thanks for the compliment!
