LOL I have done that already, try to explain to the tacher why your on the Model Railroader forums instead of working on that report.
Matt, Since no one else has mentioned anything, I'll have too. Some very awesome photos you've got there! I try doing sunset and sunrise shots sometimes, but I can never get much to come out well. You on the other hand, have some very cool shots. It inspires me to get out and just shoot pictures a little more. Are you doing those with your Digital camera now, or did you do these with film?
Noah
yeah, i liked the picture of the UP loco in the snow.
"you really think youre something special and unquine"

Just wondering, but what is the purpose of this thread and why was the last thread under this title deleted?
Not implicating anything, this is just an honest question.

Thanks! I'd say the key to sunrise shots is taking as many different exposures as possible, hoping that one works out, and then saturating it beyond reason in a photoshop program (Or almost, at least!)
And right there is why I don't take film shots of sunrises and sets very often....although sometimes I do, and if I can get the exposure, it looks great! (Take http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b274/trainboysd40/bearspawsunseth.jpg for instance!) A major problem with film is that when you get it scanned (By my LPS at least) the colours get kind of wonked, and I lose a lot of colour. It's really annoying and off-putting! Well, at least my film cam holds the domain of the night in its palm right now.
Oh well, at least I can get the job done....at times.
I'm stayng home from school today since I'm sick and spent more than enough time there yesterday (Got there 8:30, didn't leave until just after 8 in the evening, performed High School Musical THREE TIMES with a ragged cast, degenerating band, no music, and an audience made up entirely of sixth graders. Also did a play....ugh, what a day)
It's a nice day, though! I wish I could get out fanning!
