Hard as it might be to love a "modern" loco I'll keep to the subject at hand and vote for the SD60. Gotta like that 3 window front and you ought to see them pushing a coalie up Crawford Hill!!

I have always liked the sound of the big GEs. Choose the AC4400cw as it seems to be a popular, constantly evolving platform for the class one railroads

As a BN fan I voted for the sd60s meaning the Oakways and the wide cab version but I am
a big fan of the SD70Macs too.

I used to work at the UP loco. shop in Roseville Ca. Mechanically the SD70M,s win hands down. The UP ran all the #,s and the 70's had an availibility rate of 97%. The SD90MAC / SD9043MAC's had a rate of about 65%. Thats why UP bought 1000 of them. [:D][8D]

For all of us who love trains a modern engine is always a topic of dicussion. Then I sit and try to imagine the strength one of these brutes posses...simply awesome! AC6000CW tops my list.
