  • Hey Noah, I don't know if you saw my post but, I will be at the NMRA show in Milwaukee. The show is always a fun place to go to each year. This wil be my third year and it's a blast! Got a few friends that bring there layout up. You've probably seen them. They have a bascual bridge. There called the Moo crew.

I'll be down there too on Saturday. This will actually be the first time in a few years I've been to the show. Really for me it's getting to the point where it's not worth it, as it's not that good of a show when compared with the one in Madison in February. The one in Madison usually has dealers with better deals, better layouts, it's better organized, and for me at least, it's closer to home. But, I figured I'd go to the show again this year again so long as I haven't been there in a few years, but otherwise I prefer the Madison show.

I have seen a Moo Crew around, yeah, and if I remember their layout right it's a pretty cool one. Hey, if you are ever at a show (although we won't be at trainfest this year because the guy who runs the show is a complete idiot), in southern Wisconsin and see a layout by the "Southern Wisconsin Sandhouse Crew", ask if I'm around. That's my club, and we're out of Madison. I won't for sure be at the layout, but I spend about 75% of a show there, so the odds are good you'd find me. We usually have bright orange shirts on, so we're not hard to pick out of a crowd. It's a fairly new club, and we've only got about three shows under out belt so far, but we are at the Madison Show every year, and we hope to attend the show in Green Bay, Monroe, and Trainfest every year as well.

  • Well that is cool dude.

  • G-day gents.

So Noah! I have heard that the Madison show is fun and better than the Milwaukee show but it lands on a bad day of the year and no ever goes to it my area, well except for one person and he usually goes alone. But maybe someday I will have the chance to get down there and actually see what its like.Smile [:)]

But untill then I will be sticking to the Milw. show. Which I have nothing to complain about since I really like it.
