Noah- Glad you had fun @ your game! and made a train sighting.

Colin- The Barret Jackson Auction is crazy! Lots a nice cars, I wish I was there with about 2 million dollars! [^] and have fun railfanning.!!!!

    Max- enjoy your railfanning!

Well, I do not have school for another week. If my mom will take me, I may go railfanninfg. Well, I will be checking in throught tonite, so keep on posting!
  • I don't have school until next week too, makes me happy! Too bad I had to get off on the 23rd..
Didn't get around to thsoe things, there was an unexpected visit from a hot girl. No, I'm serious. And it went well!
And I discovered today that my disk drive has only 1.7 gigs free...that may be over a tenth, but still, it can't be good...and MSTS has stopped running completely. I am really going to have to get some other stuff. more RAM, another hard drive..
Chris - in your sig, it says "Walk softly and carry a big stick". Maybe it's just that it's after 1 AM, but what would you think of changing it to "Walk softly and carry a big schitick"?
    Probably just the exhaustion..
    ah well, off to bed...

  • Trainboy, come to my school, ooooohhhhhhhh. Man they are everywhere. There is one in my English class, who happens to have a shore house near me, who I have now started to become friends with. Down the shore is amazing though. I have a lot of friends from my HS whom I just met that have houses very close to me down the shore. The 2 girls that live next door are AMAZING!!!!!! I love the shore!!

  • Chris, I would probably take about 10-15 million with me. I stayed at a hotel right down the road from where it is taking place. My favorite last night, was the '65 Chevy Corvette convertible, black, white interior, a 427, and a 4 speed manual. The show is a re-run, but I am going to watch some more of it later.

Man, if there was a 70 Charger with a HEMI or a 440 Six Pack I would be all over that. Those are my favorites! A bronze with a white top and white interior, yes yes! [:p]

    one of these!

    [:D][:D]

I would also like an old power wagon, from the 60s! And I modern 3/4 ton pickup. And a Jeep. Those are my favorites. I am more of a truck person, but I like old muscle cars too!

Talking about girls are we? Well, I go to what you would call a "suburban" high school, and there are a lot of rich girls, who wont even talk to me [:(!] Ahhh, keep posting, I'll be back!
  • Girls are people the trick to it is not putting them on a pedastel,... and just talking to them... be cool just like you would with your brother sister, friends cousins. you know people your comforatable around! Take your time and be smooth and the women will flock to you.... Boy if I only knew in high school what know now[swg] there would be alot more women in my life... I talk to alot of them now as friends... seeing as how i am in a serious relation ship... and they tell me they had crushes on me and stuff... boy boy boy... just remember they are just as shy as you are.... and that the ones who are caught up in them selves aren't worth your time.... They'll always be caught up in them selves....

boy i wish it would quit raining so i could go rail fanning

    You guys take care
  • Rich girls here too, they are very nice though, but I pretty much get along with everyone at my HS, even the upper classmen, because a suprising amount went to my grade school. I am friends with a lot of girls in the freshman class, even though I wish some were more that just friends. And the worst part is that all of them are hot!!!!!!!!!!!!! One sticks out from the rest though, and she is the one I think I am most compatible with. We get along so well. This is not the one that I will be seeing down the shore, but who knows, I could have the one at the shore in the summer. She will be working at the best place to eat in Avalon, where my shore house is, Uncle Bill's Pancake house. Oh and the girl I like, her brother and I happen to be friends, but not really, maybe just aquiantinces, because I talk to her more than I talk to him. Life is always sooooooooo complicated, but when there is doubt, there are good looking girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, I did see that '70 charger, had a six pack (just like me), it was green with the black stripe along the back. My uncle has a 69 Cuda, orange, and it has a HEMI I believe. That thing is absolutley gorgeous. I love that car. My grand pop's friend had a '65 Corvette convertible, and a '66 hard top, both red. I saw the con., but never got to see the Hardtop. He sold both of them, they had no miles on them. Now what I really want to see is a '68 Charger, red with a black stripe on the back. I also love the newer exotics, Mercedes, Jaguar, and so on, also the luxury sedans, SUV's, all of that, but I hate FORD.

  • Heh, it's not a lack of hot girls at my school, it's a lack of hot girls who I can alk to! Unfortunately, most of the hot girls I know are a bit lacking in the mental processes...
I'm feeling quite a bit better today, and I think I might go on a long awaited bike trip to 12 Mile Coulee tomorrow..

    Colin from prr.railfan.net
  • Yeah, its rainig like mad here in Chicago... Girls, girls, thanks for te advice Chase!

Yeah, I am home, no railfanning, but I am working on my railimages.com page. It is almost done! A good freind of my dad has an awsomes 66 GTO that I got a ride in. It is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, yeah, I'll be back with a link to my railiamges.com page soon!
  • Chris, there are a couple muscle cars in my neighborhood. One guy has a '68 GTO, another guy has 2, a 66'GTO, and a '64 442 Olds. Another guy has a '69 Chevelle Convertible. I got a ride in the GTO, and that was a heck of a ride, and all of those cars sound amazing.
    Colin from prr.railfan.net
  • Yes, I have a railimages.com page up.

    Check it out::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: http://railimages.com/gallery/chrisgroeling
  • Hi Chris. Thanks for your compliments on my photos! [:)] I just read your trip report on Railpics. Very nice photos and awesome catch seeing the WSOR 25th Anniversary engine!

http://www.railimages.com/gallery/chrisgroeling/aaa Your first try is an excellent try. Very nice shots! [:)] You and I have to meet up somewhere soon. We live pretty close to each other. [:)]

On a note to everyone, CTRG IS BACK UP AND RUNNING! [:)] We have narrowed down the number of forums, but that shouldn't reduce the discussion. Instead of having 20+ forums, we have narrowed it down to "Class One Operations", "Fallen Flag Railroads", "Regional and Short Line Railroads", etc. The more exciting news is we have installed a gallery at CTRG for everyone to post their photos! Any type of photo is welcome as long as it's railroad. Locomotives, cabooses, stations, signals, etc etc etc etc etc. You can ignore the "Teen" part of our site name. We just want railfans to enter our site. Nobody will be left out. Here is the link to our site. You can access the gallery from the forum.

http://www.ctrgroup.net/forums/ [:)][8D][:)][8D][:)] I hope to see everyone back and registered! [:)]

On a bad note, I go back to school tomorrow. [:(!][:(!] I have a short week though. It's been so cloudy lately. We need sunlight next weekend!

    Take care everyone! Nick [:)]
  • Chris, Awesome gallery! I see you've figured out railimages well.

While we're on the subject, there are quite a few hot girls at my school too, problem is, they seem to lack a bunch of stuff that should be between there ears.

I had to go back to the long grind of School again today, and I hated it. But, it's one more day closer to the end of school for the year....

Well guys, I'm going to head out for now, but I'll be back.

Edit: Nick, thanks for the link to the new CTRG. I've already regestered.
