  • Just read the poll and vote then read others opinions on the trains mag forum.
Yes we call it the Dinky. Why? Well cause it's dinky! Proud to be the official train geek of Princeton University!

  • I was just out near Glacier National Park - BN country. I saw several trains that were lead by all cascade green (BN) locomotives. It ws impressive I like the cascade green and wi***he BN was never merged .

  • BN was a very nice railroad.
  • Wasn't BN one of the largest railroad around? What's not to like about the big green.
  • i like how BN isn't completely gone because its name hasnt been "removed". BNSF didnt go under the larger company's name when they merged. and that i REALLY like. i mean, Union Pacific merges with another company and then completely wipes their name out. ugh.

and thanks to the size of BN, BNSF is bigger than UP and cannot be bought out.

    Your friendly neighborhood CNW fan.

BN was the biggest railroad on the continent for many years. Long live the cascade green!
  • Nobody will admit to hating any railroad other than the UP. By the way when banks merege they usally keep one name or the other, you don't get names like Wells US Fargo Bank.
  • I don't really care. They're gone, and I never have seen one of their locomotives in person. Plus I live forever away from where they treaded.

  • I truly love the BN Railroad. And that the BN Railroad took over the ATSF it is now stronger than ever. The BNSF Railway is the most POWERFUL Railroad around Today and will be for many Years to come.
    BNSF RAILWAY FOREVER. Allan.
  • BN-Green and black even make a U30C look great, and me willing to shell out $350 to get a model!
I have a BN interchange on my model railroad, although it's hidden, and kinda nonexistent.
I am happy with BN, and every photo I take of it makes into my album, unlike CP, my favorite, and UP (Lurghhhh)
