The next two photos are of the best loco engineer ever---me!!!!!

  • Richard, Wow, you sure got lucky! Aren't cab rides great? I've been in at least 6 myself. And I've enjoyed everyone of them. It can be a lot of fun watching the engineer work, but honestly I don't think I'd want to drive one of those things without the proper training(which I hope to get some day), as they have a lot of talent in what they are doing. Knowing when to apply the break, when to bump the throttle, when to apply a set, it sure takes a lot of skill.

Well guys, I think I'm going to get off for the night. I sumitted one of my Holiday train shots to Railpic's, I'm going to see if they take it(although I doubt it). See you all after school tomorrow.

    Noah
  • Noah, I hope that you know that Richard wasn't driving the train.
  • Eric, Let me suggest something(which you are entirely welcome to ignore if you want). In the quote, USPSCSX, desn't acctually I say "I think it was for......", he may simply be stating what He heard someone else say. Of course, then again, maybe he does mean it, but I'm guessing that he got it from someone else(As I saw that same explination from another member shortly after you were booted).

Like I said, you are welcome to ignore what I said, just suggesting the idea(but it is your forum, so you are welcome to do what you want).

Edit: and Yeah, I knew he wasn't actually driving, (although I'm guessing he was imagining he was!).

    Respectfully,
    Noah
  • I thank you for your imput but he is getting booted regardless.
  • Richard, congrats on the cab ride! Looks like lotsa fun! (I see you still haven't got a better haircut) In all my cabrides, I've never been in the engineer's seat, though I have been in the fireman's seat plenty of times!
Eric, good for you for showing restraint, sometimes you just have to, it's the mature thing to do....and on a related topic, before you kick off Matt, think about the pros and cons.
Well, I'm off to play train simulator, will be in tomorrow, but after that I won't be back till friday, the show's on! (Oh man oh man oh man....)

Okay, Eric(Edited). Let's take a poll. Majority(51%)would agree that you had at least one flamatory post. You did it first time 'round. Second time, you were polite and did not flame in the least. This time, you have been polite(With the exception of this post and an e-mail or two), and I haven't had a problem with you at all. I don't know why you're trying to stir up controversy. 99% of the members on this forum have been called a flamer at one point or another, even if they are perfect except for one post.

And no, I did not tip off Bergie. Quite frankly, I was hoping you'd get to stay.

If I have offended you in any way, I apologize. Yes, it was what others have said, and it wasn't me who originally stated it. I do ask that you forgive me of this, and allow me to stay on your forum. Even if you do boot me(Which I hope you don't), can we at least still be friends? You know, in an adult fashion

    Adult out.
  • I'd have to agree with Matt here, it does look like hewas just stating opinion, and Bergie's email was along those lines. You offended people, and I think Bergie got enough complaints from whiners that he kicked you off, because people are whiners, if they don't have something to complain about, they'll make up a problem. On a semi-related note, WHY IS PHPBB STILL DOWN???

    Dock_661, welcome to our place!

So today I have school until 7:30, cello lesson keeps me from getting home until 10, I don't have my costume for the show tomorrow, I don't have the money for tickets to the shows on wed. and thurs., last night I stayed up late stressing about it and watching my parts in the movie, I hope I do well!

Thank you Matthew. It's good to see that someone agrees.

And again, Eric, I ask that we can put this all behind us.
  • Okay, not much to report today, besides the fact school was as boring as ever and my school-bus was about to break-down!!!!! Can't wait for the cab-ride next Sunday!!!!!!! Thanks for the comments on my pix guys!!!!!! I appreciate it!!!

  • Hey guys,

Just stopping in quick. And thanks for the Compliments Chris!
