I have a couple of old photographs of locomotives from when my Great Grandfather was an engineer. I do not recognize the locomotive types and was wondering if anyone could identify them for me. I believe he worked for the Reading Railroad. Where would be the correct forum to post them? Thank you.
Maybe we could if you post the photos.
If you are new here, get a Photo Bucket account. Upload you pictures there. In the account you will see four different links. Use the one labeled IMG. Copy and post the link here. The picture will show up right away.
Most forums require that procedure.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
Howdy, Jim,
Once you figure out how to post photos, the bewst place would be the Classic Trains forum down toward the bottom of the page. That's where the rail historians usually hang out.

Can you give us the road numbers? Steam or diesel? With that information, we should be able to identify them.
Both are steam, on one the number 942 appears on the front (smokebox?) and cab. The second , maybe 901 -the picture is not clear. Both appear to be some sort of camelback. A road name is not visible in either picture.
Little more info.

Whet a dhow do I create a photo bucket account?
Go to the Photo Bucket website and follow instructions.
In the future, try not to hijack a thread. Start your own thread. Easier to follow.
