On page 52 of the nov. 2012 issue there are two pictures of the engine mounting surface. It appears to be white as though concrete was added for weight. Is this so? Surely slabs of metal would weigh more.
No concrete or balast of any kind in a P42. They were designed to be fairly lightweight and have a decent sized fuel tank.
