Car shops?

OK, I give up. I'd like to model a car shop but can't get close enough to one (boy, RR security's gotten a lot tighter than when I was a kid w/o a camera) to know what, exactly, goes on in one or to get detail shots so I can model the interior. I'm looking for one that's on the small side, 2 or 3 tracks in particular. Can anyone help?

I have a book on the Southern Pacific, and in it are quite a few good shots of the car shops in Los Angeles ,Ca. I also have a vast collection of magazines that might have pix of the car shops. Some are of the Soo Line,Milwaukee Road,CNW,and I might have some of different railroads as well.Let me know as to anything specific you are looking for. You are more than welcome to write me at my email address. I do enjoy trying to help out anyone looking for certain railroad info.
Sincerely,
Andrew
