Posted by agentatascadero on Sun, Sep 5 2004 11:34 PM I've visited Lucin several times, from the train. Passed over when the trestle still existed, can't remember the limit, but was probably 20MPH or less. I believe the fill was used by AMTRAK in the 70's, and was not much faster, though I confess I was sleeping. Not to miss, is the museum at Promentory. I was there in '03, it was very impressive and, like me, you will probably never be closer. You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
