Ive been watching the cam since its been put up in its new position. Ive seen more trains come in and out of the yard than thru trains and one intermodal. What are the operations in the area? Thanks
Cory

Lots and lots of trains. Trains from that vantage point can go 2 ways either up the Mendota Sub or up the Barstow sub. The barstow sub branches off just as the far signal bridge headed out of town. You have trains off both subs coming through there. Yes you did see yard operations on there as well. We have assembled trains being pulled up town and then backed in to the yard waiting for power to be added to continue there trek elsewhere. You will see anything ranging from intermodal and coal to vehicle trains and mixed frieghts then also the taconite trains as well. Just keep visiting that site and you will be rewarded.
