I went with No. 1 because the first impression was big colorful train with little or almost no background to interfer with my enjoyment of the train. And enough of the curve is shown to make sure you know that there is a curve. No. 2 just didn't have the flair. Color was murky, too much dark background.

Photo #1 is very cool. It's nice and light and the locos all look fantastic! (is that an ATSF warbonnet I see in the rear?)

Both photos are very good, but I voted for #1. I like the fact it's more up close and in your face.

I enjoyed the composition and color of photo 1.It`s framing was a better overall shot of the four engines or so I think![2c]

I liked both photos but I had to go with no.2 as it just had the right blend of scenery & train. I like the closeness of no.1 but too much train & not enough scenery. Both are excellent photo's. Believe it or not it was difficult to decide!

Both good photos this week, but I gotta go with photo #1.

Photo Number one seems to make better use of the picture, whereas photo #2 has to much "empty space" in the top lefthand corner.

Interesting to see all the loco's going "elephant style"

I've noticed a trend. Mike and Eric each win every other week. It'll be interesting to see if this trend continues.
